Italian Fajita

Ingredients:
2 lbs. SYRACUSE'S Italian Sausage (Mild, Hot or Medium)
1 pkg. Large Flour Tortillas
3 Bell Peppers
1 Onion
Virgin Olive Oil
Garlic Powder
Italian Seasoning
Lemon Pepper
Grated Mozzerella/Provolone blend or Italian Blend Cheeses

Instructions:

Grill or fry sausage until done, approximately 30 minutes. Cut links in quarters, making strips. Sauté bell peppers and onions. Baste each flour tortilla with olive oil on both sides to capture and hold the seasonings. Liberally sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning and lemon powder on both sides of the tortilla. Sear the tortillas by frying in hot oil for 10-15 seconds. Place the sautéed bell pepper and onions and a strip of sausage in the center of each tortilla. Roll and serve. Mango Relish and Italian cheeses are great compliments for these fajitas. Spaghetti sauce can be substituted for onions & peppers to make a kids favorite!
